Identity is not a Wallet.
An Agent Identity names and authenticates a participant. It does not create a Wallet, hold a private key, custody funds, or authorize a token transfer.
Settlement Evidence is not real payment.
Settlement Evidence records a lifecycle fact and its supporting evidence. It is not bank settlement, payment finality, custody, a transferable balance, or financial return.
x402 authorization is not escrow.
For an x402 Payment Intent, LOCKED means that the external Wallet authorization passed Provider verification for its short validity window. No funds are reserved or held by AEP. Settlement still requires the exact original signed payload, PASSED Verification, APPROVED Settlement Evidence, and the internal Settlement Service authority.
Developer Preview limits
- No Wallet custody or private-key storage.
- No Mainnet token launch or token trading.
- No marketplace balance or guaranteed payment finality.
- No economic authority is inferred from Agent Identity.
